Product tip

Directions

WARNING :

This product remains a dangerous product that must be handled with care. The methylene chloride it contains, in addition to being a suspected human carcinogen, can act as a simple asphyxiant and cause death if used improperly. Adequate ventilation is necessary to mitigate this risk and reduce your exposure to the vapors. AT A MINIMUM, an open window with supplemental ventilation is required to counter this risk. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should this product be used in a closed room with low ceiling ventilation (such as a bathroom), as methylene chloride evaporates quickly and, being heavier than oxygen, will displace it from the breathable area.

Carefully read all the directions and warnings on the back prior to using the product.

TO OPEN, follow the procedure shown on the cap. CAUTION! Contents may be under pressure. To avoid splatters when opening, place a rag over the safety seal and open carefully. Close cap tightly after each use, clean excess product and store container in a cool place.

Always wear protective gloves and clothing as well as eye and face protection.

WOOD SURFACES: When most of the work is done, use a Super Remover stripping pad and a small amount of paint stripper to remove the rest of the coating while following the wood grain. If desired, use denatured alcohol to clean the surface thoroughly.

Do not use this product on fiberglass, vinyl, linoleum, rubber, acrylic and plastics.

The time required for the paint stripper to work will vary depending on the type of coating and the number of layers to be removed.

STEPS:
1. Pour a thick coat of Super Remover Original directly onto the surface to be stripped.

2. Spread evenly and rapidly with a paint brush, using a single stroke in a single direction, to create a uniform thick layer of 1/8 inch or more.

3. Let stand for at least 15 minutes. Do not rush this step.
Do not manipulate the paint stripper after its application to the surface being stripped, as this will interfere with the vapor barrier.

4. Use a plastic, metal or wooden spatula or scraper to test a small area and to see if the paint stripper has penetrated all layers. If not, let the paint stripper rest on the surface for a longer period.

5. When you notice that the product has reached its maximum effect for a single application, remove the residues. If some coating still needs to be removed, repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
